4. in japan, pikmin 1's song "ai no uta (the song of love)" outsold the game itself as a cd-single. also talking about pikmin, half a year after the release of pikmin 1 in america, nintendo made there own breed of flower to be bought called "the pikmin flower" it even resembles the flower on top of the yellow pikmin's head.
3. in sonic unleashed, the name "sonic the warehog" makes no sense. the "ware" in warewolf means man, so warewolf is really "manwolf". so warehog really means manhog, manpig, or loosly it could mean "man hedgehog" none of these 3 translations fits the character at all.
2. in team fortress 2, when a scout explodes or is gibbed, there is a 1/100 chance of a dove flying out of his torso. this is a refrence to "meet the medic" as at the end, the medic's pet bird Archimedes accidentally gets stuck in the scout's chest.
1. in warioware touched for the ds, you can fastforward a song as it's playing. speeding up the track "ahsley's song" you can hear the words "i have granted kids to hell" this is not a hidden message or easter egg. and was stated to be an accedent by nintendo and the verse in question is
"Eye of newt I cast a hex on you! Grandma's wig, this will make you big! Kitten spit, soon your pants won't fit! Pantalones giganticus! Oh no, not again"
speeding this up makes the real words be "Eye of grand this kitt soo pan" and misheard as "i have granted kids to hell".
